Measure the child, not the label. Children grow at different speeds, so body measurements are the best starting point for tees, dresses, overalls, cozy layers, and activewear sets.

Measure First

Three simple checks before choosing a size.

For the most comfortable Kidluna fit, use a soft tape measure and keep it level. If the child is between sizes, choose the larger size for longer wear, easier layering, and more room to move.

1 Height Measure from the top of the head to the floor while standing straight.
2 Chest Wrap around the fullest part of the chest without pulling tight.
3 Waist Measure the natural waist, leaving space for easy breathing and play.
General Chart

Kidswear size reference.

This chart is a general guide for Kidluna everyday clothing. For relaxed pieces such as tees, overalls, one-pieces, dresses, activewear, and cozy layers, allow a little extra room for movement.

Between two sizes? Choose the larger size for comfort, especially for outerwear, sweat sets, overalls, and pieces intended for layering.

Fit Notes

How each style should feel.

Different pieces are meant to fit differently. A tee can sit relaxed, swimwear should stay secure, and outerwear needs room for a layer underneath.

Tees & short sleeves

Choose a size that leaves gentle room across the chest and shoulders. A slightly relaxed fit helps with daily movement and repeated washing.

Soft everyday comfort

Swimwear & activewear

Look for a close but comfortable fit. The garment should stay in place while the child bends, jumps, swims, and plays.

Secure movement fit

Overalls & one-pieces

Check both height and torso length. If the child is tall for their age, sizing up often creates a more natural, easy fit.

Room through the body

Outerwear & cozy layers

Allow space for a tee, sweatshirt, or set underneath. Sleeves can be gently rolled if the child is between sizes.

Comfort Check

Before the tag comes off.

Try the outfit on over light underlayers. Ask the child to sit, reach, bend, and take a few playful steps. The best size should feel easy without pulling at the shoulders, waist, seat, or sleeves.

Quick Answers

Small details that make sizing easier.

Use age as a starting point, then confirm with height, chest, and waist. Kids grow fast, so a touch of extra room is usually better for everyday clothing.

Should I choose by age or body measurement?

Body measurements are more reliable than age. Age ranges are helpful as a quick reference, but height, chest, and waist give a more accurate fit for Kidluna clothing.

What should I do if my child is between sizes?

Choose the larger size for everyday tees, overalls, one-pieces, dresses, outerwear, and cozy layers. For swimwear or activewear, check that the larger size still feels secure.

How much room should outerwear have?

Outerwear should allow one comfortable layer underneath without pulling at the shoulders or sleeves. A slightly roomy fit also supports longer seasonal wear.

Can I ask for help before ordering?

Yes. Contact Kidluna with the child’s height, chest, waist, and the style you are considering. We will help you choose the most comfortable size.
